About Us

The Orinda Community Foundation enhances the quality of life in Orinda by fostering community spirit and citizen engagement, building partnerships and providing financial assistance to support community activities, beautification and the arts.

Each year OCF, under the leadership of its all-volunteer board, accepts grant applications and puts every dollar back into the community following its mission and addressing the highest needs.

OCF continues to play a key leadership role in our community by partnering with the City of Orinda, Rotary Club, Orinda Association, Orinda Chamber of Commerce, local nonprofits, schools, businesses and community members, and by

sponsoring the annual Orinda Action Day of Community Service, Orinda Citizen of the Year award banquet, and other events.
